Gofinestera had a rich substantive vision; a growing collection of special nature and power places, stories, routes and meditations, but no digital home base yet that lived up to it. The brief: build a user-friendly platform in which the map is the beating heart, the content can be expanded effortlessly, and visitors are guided step by step from 'discovering' to 'becoming a member'. Everything had to feel calm and accessible, in line with the promise of slowing down and at the same time be technically scalable to add new regions, places and audio every month.
The concrete challenges:
- An interactive map as the central entry point, with all places freely explorable
- A clear separation between free access (the map) and member content (descriptions, tips, routes, meditations, backgrounds)
- A smooth membership and subscription model with multiple tiers (monthly, ongoing, forever)
- An audio library for 25+ hours of spoken meditations and 50+ hours of audio content Search and filtering by region, theme and keyword and by experience (relaxing, reflecting, family-friendly, mega power places)
- Regional guides, routes and blogs/stories that enrich the places
- A mobile-friendly experience for travellers who consult the site on the road
- A content structure that grows monthly towards worldwide coverage
- Strong findability (SEO) for nature, travel and power place searchers
- A scalable foundation that grows with the offering and the member base
